The Short Version
- We only collect what we need to run your account and your alerts.
- We never sell your data. No ads, no data brokers.
- You can see or delete your data any time. Email support@thepointmonster.com.
What We Collect
- Account: your email and name. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with us.
- Settings: your country and state or province, your sportsbooks, unit size, odds format and alert choices.
- Bets you track: the game, side, line, book, odds and stake you enter with Track Bet.
- Phone alerts: if you turn them on, a device address so we can send the alert to your phone.
- Ask questions: the questions you type into Ask, with the date.
- Referrals: your referral code and who invited you.
- On your device: small saved settings (like your chosen tab) kept in your browser.
Why We Use It
- To sign you in and keep your account safe.
- To show your books' lines, send your alerts, and grade your tracked bets.
- To answer your Ask questions and improve our FAQs.
- To give referral credit.
Who Helps Us Run It
These companies store or process data only to run thePointMonster for you:
- Supabase: accounts, settings and tracked bets.
- Vercel: website hosting and app storage.
- Resend: sends your sign-in code emails.
- Anthropic (Claude): writes the answers to your Ask questions. It sees your question and the games on your screen.
- Google: only if you choose Continue with Google.
Some of these companies store data outside Canada, including in the United States.
How Long We Keep It
- As long as your account is open.
- When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days.
Your Choices
- See or fix your data: most of it is in Settings. For anything else, email us.
- Delete your account: email support@thepointmonster.com from the email on your account.
- Stop alerts: turn them off in Settings or on your phone.
Age
thePointMonster is only for people of legal betting age where they live. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
